2025 - a quick summary

It's been a satisfying year with 31 new species for myself (listed below in green), 13 of which were also new to Calderdale. So, after mothing for over 20 years it just goes to show that there's still a lot of scope for new species to be discovered.

Being an ex birder/twitcher I inevitably keep a life list and mine now stands at 796 species, it would have been nice to have reached 800 but that would have been greedy!

I will be more than happy to reach that milestone by the end of next year........
