41.002 Common Masoner (Blastobasis adustella), June 5th 2010. Reared from a larva found spun up in Heather at Norland village.

41.002 Common Masoner (Blastobasis adustella) dark form, feeding at night on sugar in my garden at Skircoat Green on July 26th 06.

41.003 Large Pale Masoner (Blastobasis lacticolella) to MV light at Turgate Delph, Norland on June 17th 2022. I've never seen such a speckled one as this before.

41.003 Large Pale Masoner (Blastobasis lacticolella) in my garden at Skircoat Green on Sept. 23rd 04. It was captured while feeding on sugar. This was my first ever success at sugaring and very exciting at the time!

42.002 Alder Signaller (Stathmopoda pedella) resting on an Aspen leaf at Park Wood recreation ground, Elland on July 7th 2020.

42.002 Alder Signaller (Stathmopoda pedella), details as above. Found on an unsuccessful trip to find Puss Moth larvae, this was a lovely consolation prize!

44.001 Twenty-plume Moth eggs and newly hatched larva on a Honeysuckle flower bud in my garden at Skircoat Green, May 15th 2012. I expect the majority of Honeysuckle in gardens host this species.

44.001 Twenty-plume Moth in my garage at Skircoat Green, May 15th 2014. Captured by day.

44.001 Twenty-plume Moth, captured by day in my garden at Skircoat Green, Mar. 20th 05.

44.001 Twenty-plume Moth photographed at dusk in my garden at Skircoat Green on May 3rd 06.

46.001 Blackberry Skeletoniser (Schrekensteinia festaliella) on my Skircoat Green allotment on July 30th 2016. Appropriately enough it was by the blackberry and raspberry patches which are what the larvae feed on.
I hardly gave it a second glance as it was very small and fly-like which may explain why it's often overlooked and not often recorded in Yorkshire.

47.005 Common Ridge-back (Epermenia chaerophyllella) larva on Hogweed, North Dean wood, Sept.13th 2012. One of two larvae feeding within a light spinning on the underside of the leaf.

47.005 Common Ridge-back (Epermenia chaerophyllella) pupa and cocoon on Sept. 17th 2012. Both larvae soon pupated on the Hogweed leaf they were found on and spun this flimsy, net-like cocoon. The pupae have begun to colour up and will emerge in a couple of weeks or so.

47.005 Common Ridge-back (Epermenia chaerophyllella), June 23rd 2014. Reared from larvae found at Bankhouse wood on Hogweed earlier in the month.
