49.097 Straw Conch (Cochylimorpha straminea) to MV light at the cafe area, Cromwell Bottom, June 1st 2019.

49.109 Common Yellow Conch (Agapeta hamana) in a canal-side field at West Vale, June 30th 06. A field observation. I recorded a few individuals at this site during the summer but probably extinct here now as yet another good site is cleared and levelled by developers!

49.111 Marbled Conch (Eupocelia angustana) disturbed from Heather at Norland moor on Aug. 23rd 2017. Captured by day. One of just three micros seen that day during a long walk in largely warm sunshine.

49.127 Thistle Conch (Aethes cnicana) disturbed by day in a marshy field beside the towpath at Warland on June 15th 2022. Found whilst balsam bashing to help this rare fenland site.

49.157 Plum Tortrix (Hedya pruniana) May 22nd 2018. Reared from a larva spun up in Blackthorn leaves at Norland moor on May 10th the same year. The larva is a distinctive, bright green with a dark head.

49.166 Common Marble (Celypha lacunana) North Dean wood, June 29th 06. A field observation. A very common polyphage, I think this one must have been here all night as it's covered in dew.

49.178 Cowberry Marble (Stictea mygindianafeeding signs on Cowberry, Norland Bilberry slopes, Mar. 28th 2010. Leaves spun together by these larvae are a common sight here.

A rarely recorded moth despite being a common species at this site, no doubt down to a distinct lack of recorders on the higher moors and heaths.
