73.228 Grey Chi at Rishworth Golf Course, Norland on Aug. 12th 2013. A pristine moth resting openly on a dry stone wall by day.
73.234 Brindled Ochre to actinic light at Norland Moor on Oct. 9th 2021. Just three other moths in the trap come morning, definitely a case of quality over quantity.
73.235 Feathered Ranunculus, a male, with feathered antennae, one of three to MV light at Clock Face Quarry, Krumlin on Sept. 16th 2023.
73.241 Pine Beauty to MV light at Midgehole Car Park, Hardcastle Craggs, Mar. 21st 2011.

73.257 Beautiful Yellow Underwing feeding on Bell Heather on Norland Moor on July 17th 2022. Isolated pockets of Bell Heather provide a welcome nectar source for these moths and also make them easier to find before the whole moor turns purple with Heather (Calluna vulgaris).
73.257 Beautiful Yellow Underwing details as above. They either clamber about and hang upside down to feed on flowers or they dart around like miniature Hummingbird Hawkmoths. I was lucky to capture this one in flight.
